Can be traded to Xur for legendary and exotic items, weapon and armor.
Obtaining[edit]
Getting these Coins can be tricky. These are a rare drop. You can also receive them by completing Public Events, Crucible matches and Story Missions. They appear from Rare and Legendary engrams or from Loot Chest.
The most reliable method is to reach Level 20 and participate in the Weekly Strike Mission. If completed on Normal Difficulty, all participants will receive 3. If completed on Heroic, then they will get 6. If you complete the mission on both difficulties, in ascending order, then you can collect both sets of coins.
