“Survive” is an objective in the mission The First Firewall in Destiny: The Taken King
Walkthrough[edit]
This fight breaks into 4 waves and culminates with a Taken Boss fight.
Wave 1[edit]
The first wave has: Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight, Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight and Consumed Knight.
The order is important for the reward of this mission. Now you need to defeat all of these Foes. The Consumed Knights are the easier to kill because they lack the Arc Shield that the Ascendant Knights are protected by. Having an Arc based class helps here but an Arc Shotgun, Machine Gun or Sidearm will carry you much farther through the conflict
Wave 2[edit]
The second wave has: Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight, Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight, and Ascendant Knight.
Again, you need to make it through this conflict. Keep on the move and use the cover in the area to stay alive. It helps to get take out the Consumed knights first because they have no shield.
Wave 3[edit]
The second wave has: Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight,Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Consumed Knight,Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight and Ascendant Knight.
Notice how the knights have been spawning. There is a pattern to each.
Wave 4[edit]
The final wave has: Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight, Consumed Knight, Ascendant Knight and Ascendant Knight
Defeat Kandorak[edit]
The final part of the mission has you against a final wave of Ascendant Knights, Consumed Knights and, most importantly, Kandorak. This giant Boomer wielding Knight is your main target. Pull out your heavy weapon and start unloading on him. If you have your Super ready, then unleash it on him. All of them can help inflict a significant amount of damage.
With all the knights and the extended fight, it is not easy to get through. Aim for the Boss as much as possible. Focus on the Knights only when they are getting close to your position.
