Vorlog has a rotating shield. Each time it regenerates, it will recharge as a different element.
With the rotating element, coordinating to cover the elemental gaps in the fire team is very important. Still, someone charging in with a powerful weapon can quickly kill him if they are fast enough and have enough damage.
