Akelous, the Siren's Current in Destiny 2.
“Akelous, the Siren's Current” are a type of Vex.
Description[edit]
- Akelous, the Siren's Current will head to your location and raise a shield around itself.
- There are red light all around its central eye, so start blasting those.
- Akelous, the Siren's Current will start to move back after a short while.
- Stay with them as they do so.
- Once the shield with the red lights has been broken, you will be able to damage the boss by shooting the central eye.
- At the end of the damage phase, Akelous, the Siren's Current will unleash a blast of energy meant to send the Guardians in its way off the Tower.
- There are a few ways to avoid this:
- Tower Barricades will stop the blast from even hitting you.
- Duck to the lower level of the platform to just avoid it.
- Hunter can dodge after getting hit to stop the backward momentum of the blast.
