To complete this set of the quest, you need to hunt down a lot of Vex.
This objective calls for you to destroy Vex with Critical Hits.
A Red bar enemy will give the Radiolaria Pod, while a Yellow Bar will give both a Vex Core and a Radiolaria Pod.
Traveling to Mercury and participating in the Vex Crossroads is a great source.
Nessus offers the Vex Spire public event which is another great farming place.
Participating in any strikes that heavily feature the Vex are another source.
Aim for the white in the abdominal section of the robot to do heavy damage and kill them with a critical hit.
Hand Cannons and Sniper Rifles are very useful for one-shot kills to quickly eliminate the Vex.
