Destiny 2: Defend Cayde-6 - Looped

Defend Cayde-6 is an Objective in the Story/Strike/Raid/Adventure Looped in Destiny 2.

Summary[edit]

Protect Cayde-6 from Hapax.

In front of you will appear, Hapax, the Convergent Mind, a massive Hydra.
Like many other Hydras, Hapax is protected by a 3 section rotating shield.
Initially, it will be moving around outside the stone spires, along the edge of the platform.
After you have damaged the unit, more Vex will be teleported in to aid Hapax.
Expect to encounter Goblins and a Minotaur initially.
After that, more Goblins and Hobgoblins will be teleported in.
For the first half of Hapax's health, keep in the middle of the Spires. It will remain outside them, giving you cover.
This also gives the Guardian cover from the Vex that have come in to join the fight.
Be sure to look around once in a while to ensure a Vex unit is not attempting to ambush you.

When reduced to half or less, Hapax, the Convergent Mind will teleport into the middle of the arena.
Immediately leave this area and move out to the edges, using the cover there.
It will also start to teleport around the arena itself.
Keep on guard and watch where it goes so it does not surprise you.
