Summary

Fight your way through the forest.

Walkthrough

• Go forward and over to the right, dropping down over the ledges back to the ground.
• You can turn around and go through the doorway in the ruined wall to find a Heavy Ammo Drop, which will be very helpful shortly.
• Continue forward down the slope in front of you, but do so very carefully.
• Stop the moment you see a Heavy Shank, or get close to the trees.
• There are 4 Heavy Shanks in the trees!
• Keep your distance and focus on just the two approaching you individually.
• Take them down 1 at a time to keep things manageable, suggested using a Scout Rifle or Sniper Rifle.
• Any weapon can be used, just be certain to keep around mid-range and aim for the yellow "visor" to quickly defeat them.
• After that, continue forward, going down the slope toward the next heavy ammo drop you can see.
• Take cover behind the large rocks you will find just ahead on the left, before the wreckage.
• Move carefully around the rock to see where the enemies are.
• Once again, you will need to deal with a few Heavy Shanks trying to blast you, this time with more Fallen support!
• Just on the other side of the rock, between it and the ship wreckage, you will encounter 5 Dregs.
• Most of them will rush you when you are noticed.
• 1 Heavy Shank will be advancing on your position, so be wary of it while fighting the Dregs.
• With those cleared, make your way over toward the stern of the wreckage.
• The other Heavy Shank will likely notice you.
• Immediately retreat to the small piece of wreckage for cover and work on defeating it.
• Be warned that there are more Marauders that will appear as you approach the large portion of the ship's remains.
• Get to the far side of the ship after you have dealt with most of the remaining Dregs and Marauders.
• As you start up the slope, be careful of a few Resilient Vandals that will revealed themselves on the rocks above and attempt to snipe you.
• They have some support from a few Dregs, so be warned.
• As you go around the gentle bend where the Vandals were, you will be ambushed by 5 Wretchs that will immediately start rushing you.
• More will appear, bringing the total up to 8 as you work deeper into the corner.
• Follow the trail in front of you around the corner, down the slope and under the tree roots.
• Drop over the ledge ahead of you and turn to the right.
• Just up the slope is the massive shard of the Traveler you are seeking.
• Run up toward it ready for a big boss fight.
