Description

The catalyst of the Gjallarhorn that is found within the Grasp of Avarice.

• Unlocking this Catalyst requires having completed the Grasp of Avarice prior to collecting this catalyst.

Finding the Catalyst

Part 1 - The Crystal Bridge

• Head into the Loot cave itself and into the large cavern with the crystal bridge.
• Having cleared the Grasp of Avarice earlier in the week, look to the far side of the cavern from the ledges you use to transverse the cavern.
• You can find a Ultra Reaver Vandal.
• Kill off the Reaver Vandal on the far ledge and you will see them drop the unique engrams.
• Jump over to that ledge and collect the engrams.
• You now have 30 seconds before Burdened By Riches kills you and to reach the hidden chest that is part of the unlocking process.
• Go back up the Crystal bridge to the walkway section at the top of it.
• There is a metal platform framing the top.
• From the start of the crystal bridge, jump on top of the overhang panel.
• Open the chest here to claim the unremarked first part of the Catalyst.

Part 2 - Post-Cylinder Room

• This chest is accessible after you have opened Door 4 within this room.
• Use the Scorch Cannon (Charge to its second click) to blast open the door.
• To avoid the Barrel coming down the stairs, trigger it and quickly duck into one of the opens on the side of the stairwell.
• In the room at the top of the stairs, you will find the next Ultra Reaver Vandal.
• Kill the Ultra Reaver Vandal to get the engrams to drop.
• Collect the engrams to get Burdened By Greed.
• Once you get Burdened By Greed, head along the crates that lead into the vents above.
• Go through the vents into the large room with the water-filled room with the one pillar that has a platform around it.
• Once inside this room, turn to the right from just inside this room.
• Jump over to the small ledge against the entrance side of this room.
• Just next to the bottom right corner of the shutter door you will find the chest with the next "piece" of the catalyst.

Part 3 - Servitor Puzzle

• • This fragment of the Catalyst requires that you complete the Servitor encounter puzzle first.
• After the encounter, you will need to search and find the Ultra Reaver Vandal running around the area.
• This Ultra Reaver Vandal is found in the lower buildings nearby the waterfall.
• Defeat it (or get it to drop the "engrams") to get the debuff, Burden of Riches.
• Turn and head toward the buildings directly below the Fallen Shield itself, using the launcher to get there safely.
• Once there, head toward the large building in the back of the central part.
• Climb up to the top of the back building to find the final chest and unlock the Gjallarhorn Catalyst.

Upgrading the Catalyst

• Blow stuff up with the Gjallarhorn.

Effects

• Increases magazine size.
• Final blows with Wolfpack Rounds spawn a faster, more powerful missile at the target's location.
