Walkthrough

Descending into the Necropolis

• Arriving at the entrance of the Scarlet Keep, the Guardians will want to head forward and into the Keep itself.
• Opposed to the usual going to either side, you will want to head forward to the crystal between the doorways.
• Approach the Crystal and stand on the energy around it.
• This energy will dissipate, letting the Guardians drop down into the area below.
• Once there, you will need to follow the winding paths to reach the Necropolis underneath the Scarlet Keep.
• Getting here, you will find a steep drop, so jump over the ledge and go for the next one down.

Find the Swordbearer

• To begin, drop down and begin searching the landings with Hive Symbols on them.
• You will want to look inside them to find the Accursed Swordbearer.
• Descend, searching the landings, and find them inside the chamber.
• Likely there is a Pit Keeper outside that you could have to deal with along with a number of Acolytes.
• Behind the Swordbearer you will see 3 Hive Symbols in the back of the room.
• You will now need to grab the Sword and head to the landings with those Hive Symbols.

Opening the Way

• With the Accursed Swordbearer killed, you need to grab their sword, because it is the key to killing off the Hive which is blocking the way forward.
• There is 3 Total, and each needs to be killed a different way.

Might of the Broken Blade

• They are found at one of the Symbols.
• They can only be damaged by the standard or Super Attack of the Hive Blade

Omen of the Broken Blade

• A Wizard within the chamber.
• Can only be damaged by the Ranged attack of a Hive Blade

Oracle of the Broken Blade

• A Shrieker within the Necropolis.
• Can only be damaged by defending with the Hive blade (Reflecting the attacks)
• Given the verticality of this area, you might need to ascend a level or two.
• Go to the central portion of the ledges, where you will see a platform with a Crystal in the middle of it.
• Step onto the area around the crystal to be taken up a distance.
• Use that to maneuver and reach the needed areas where you need to go.
• For each successful kill, you will get the message "A Disciple of the Broken Blade falls".
• Killing all 3 will cause a light to appear toward the bottom of the initial area of the Necropolis.
• You will find 1 more Pit Keeper that you will need to get through.
• Defeat them and go through the door they were guarding.
• This leads you to the first chest of the dungeon.

Replacing the Hive Blade

• There is a good chance that you will need to replace the Hive Blade at a point.
• To do that, you will want to search around the area to find the Accursed Swordbearer.
• They will be wandering around the walkways of the Necropolis
