The Survival Guide is part of Vanguard Allegiance in Destiny 2: Season of the Drifter.

Description[edit]

"After investigating the Drifter's Haul, you discovered he has hidden messages around the EDZ for his protege. One of those takes could contain the final piece of evidence you and Aunor need to prove for once and for all that the Drifter is up to no good."

"Search the EDZ for Drifter's tapes. One tape can be found nearby computer consoles in each of the following patrol areas and Lost Sectors: Trostland, Skydock IV, Flooded Chasm, Sojourner's Camp, Excavation Site XII, Winding Cove and Scavenger's Den."

Walkthrough[edit]

This quest step is going to take you all over the EDZ to search 7 locations for the tapes you are after.
Locations: Trostland, Skydock IV, Flooded Chasm, Sojourner's Camp, Excavation Site XII, Winding Cove and Scavenger's Den.

Trostland[edit]

From the landing zone in Trostland, head forward into the building in front of you.
Go through the first room, but immediately take a right in the second room.
Head to the monitors along this wall and find the interaction point to locate the tape.

Skydock IV[edit]

Make your way into Skydock IV Lost Sector from the Sunken Isles landing zone.
Inside Skydock VI, drop down the pit as normal to progress through the Lost Sector.
Continue on through the area and reach the final room, with the Boss.
Head for the first terminal you can see just inside this room, by the large tank.
Interact with it to collect the recording.

The gulch[edit]

From the The Gulch, make your way to the entrance of the Lost Sector, the Flooded Chasm.
Once inside the Lost Sector, head through to the central area, where you have the Fallen Technology next to the crashed Cabal Pod.
Search the Fallen Computers here to find the next tape.

Sojourner's Camp[edit]

From the Outskirts, head to the South to reach Sojourner's Camp.
Make your way to the flat camp site found in this area.
Keep on the right-hand side and go to the tarp covered camp.
Approach and interact with the computer that is found there.

Excavation Site XII[edit]

Make your way to Firebase Hades and from there go to the Lost Sector, Excavation Site XII.
Go all the way to the back of the area to find the computer with the tape.
Go around the back of the machine by the large door to find the computer.

Winding Cove[edit]

Go to Winding Cove to begin your next search for the computer with the terminal, nearby the Landing Zone.
Jump up the nearby rock and go to the terminal there and interact with it.

Scavenger's Den[edit]

Head to the Scavenger's Den from the Outskirts.
Make your way inside the Lost Sector, head into the deep section inside it.
You will find Fallen Computers in the lower section in the first large chamber of the Lost Sector.
Find and interact with the chamber to find the computer.
