Vault Access Tanks is an Objective in the Raid Scourge of the Past in Destiny 2.

This is a very mechanics heavy fight that you will be going through.
To summon the much needed tank, you will need to find and defeat the Insurrection Defender, Kell's Scourge.
Once it is defeated, there are 4 underground passages that can be accessed.
Until the Servitor is defeated, you will not be able to enter into the passages below.
4 of the 6 team members will need to head below.

While most of the team heads below, 2 fireteam members will need to stay above ground to deal manage the adds, but also be ready to aid those below ground.
Their focus will be damaging the Insurrection Defender Servitor.
The team below will call out when they have gotten their first charge.
At this point, those above need to destroy the second Insurrection Defender that has appeared.
Fight through the forces that appear in the mean time, while you wait for the team below to collect their second charge.
Finally, destroy a third servitor to bring down the barrier and allow those with the charge to head above ground.
Those who were destroying Servitors should head into the Underground for a turn below.

There are generators found throughout the Underground that you will need to find.
1 Guardian will need to collect the charge from the pair while the other defends them, fighting through the adds.
The one defending will switch with the collector when the Charged Guardian goes above ground to the Battlefield.
Approach and melee them to get the buff Parallel Phase Radiance (Square), Angular Phase Radiance (Pyramid), or Continuous Phase Radiance (Circle).
Each of those carrying a charge will need to collect a second one for it to be complete.
Be on guard for the Brutal Shanks , Dregs and Captains in the tunnels.
Also be wary of the Red Consoles with their glitching symbols.
These will immediately kill any Guardians who activate it.

There are 2 pads that can be used to summon the powerful Drake Tank.
With the charges deposited, the Drake will be summoned onto the field.
Whoever is driving the Drake will need to aim it toward the Insurrection Defender, Kell's Scourge.
While driving the Drake, they will have a 30 second buff, Powered Drake.
Only while in the Drake can the central structure be damaged.
Once the Buff timer expires, you can get a few more shots off.
When the health for the tank vanishes and the icon is flashing red, you should exit the Drake and run away from it.
Those who were in the tank are now the Battleground team.
