Return to the scene of the crime where you did your first bit of investigation. Approach Detective Montag
Talk with the detective. Do not complete the case, instead ask him about the case itself. You can talk with him about his career first, go through all the options there and then choose continue. In this second dialogue tree, tell him what you have learned about Johnny Gunn. Then ask about Randko Perry. After all dialogue has been exhausted you will be able to move forward. Talk to go talk with Randko Perry.
