Divinity Original Sin: Cyseal Treasure Map II

A guide/walkthrough to the Cyseal Treasure Map II.

Where to buy[edit]

You can but this treasure map for around 119 gold (depending on attitude/bartering) from Gerome at the market:

Talk to Gerome and click on the red "Trade" icon to start barter for the maps.

Exit the city to the west and out to the wilderness

Head northwest towards the secret marked on the map

The treasure mound is located near the Cyseal West waypoint portal.

There are some enemies just northwest of the Cyseal gate. Wait near the gate for them to approach you - when the fight starts, the Town Guards will help you, making the fight a lot easier.
There will be another fight, against skeletons, close to the treasure mound. If it is too hard for you, you should get the companions (Jahan and Madora) before heading over to get the treasure.
You can dig the treasure out even if you do not have the treasure map. Go to the location and walk around the spot where the treasure is buried in, as seen in the screenshots above. You will need a character with high perception to locate the hidden mound. Or try to just dig where the mound would otherwise be.
