Blacksmithing: Research in TESO
The research menu will allow you to research traits on armor and weapon types.
Select a trait research line using the left and right arrow buttons. If you have an item in your inventory with a trait that can be researched, the trait in the space below will say "Researchable". Double-click on the trait you wish to research and press to confirm the research.
-Research will consume the item
The research process takes time. This time will increase when multiple traits have been researched for a specific item.
