Now you can choose a companion to follow you into the Endless Stair. You can choose from Cadwell, Darien Gautier, Skordo the Knife, or Tzik'nith. Just talk with them and then ask them to join you in the initial assault. Most of the Soldiers in the area are open to this offer. It is a good idea to choose someone to shore up either your melee if you favor range or range if you like melee.
