Choose your companion, one of the quest tasks in Halls of Torment

"Choose your companion" is a quest objective/task in the quest Halls of Torment in The Elder Scrolls Online

Background[edit]

I need to choose who to bring to The Halls of Torment with me. It has to be either Lyris Titanborn or Abnur Tharn

Quest[edit]

Halls of Torment

Location[edit]

The Harborage

Walkthrough[edit]

You should talk with both Lyris Titanborn and Abnur Tharn. Remember the basic type of support each offers. You should go with whichever one best supports your own style. Lyris gives you melee support. She is a great warrior with a number of powerful attacks. Abnur Tharn gives you ranged support with his destruction spells. The two have yet to come to terms with each other since the ritual's failure.

Dialogue - Lyris Titanborn[edit]

Introduction[edit]

What's wrong. What did Varen say?

He said that only one of you can join me.[edit]

Then your choice is clear! I've known Sai Sahan longer than anyone. I should be the one to go!

It's your decision, just know that I'd give my life for you or for Sai. Who Tharn do the same?

[Choose Lyris] I want you by my side, Lyris.[edit]

Thank you. You won't regret it.

Back in the Coldharbour slave pits, the shriven used to whisper about The Halls of Torment. When I think of what Sai must be going through .... We'll bring him back or die trying.

Goodbye.[edit]

Dialogue - Abnur Tharn[edit]

Introduction[edit]

You look perplexed. What inscrutable riddles is Varen spouting now?

He said that only one of you can join me.[edit]

Did he? What surprisingly good advice. Titanborn and I are more likely to kill each other then we are to help.

The choice is your, but I recommend choosing brains over brawn. I have valuable knowledge of the Daedra. And don't forget, I'm the mage.

[Choose Abnur] Come with me, Abnur.[edit]

A very wise decision. One you won't regret, trust me.

Shall we go? We've a Redguard swordmaster to rescue.

Goodbye.[edit]
