But maybe you’re one of those players who would like to learn what all those crazy buttons mean before you find yourself randomly mashing keys while desperately fending off the dread armies of Saxe-Launberg. For players like you, there is a helpful tutorial series to ease you into the challenging world of EUIV. The Tutorials increase in difficulty and complexity as you move through them, so it is best to begin with the Basic Tutorial, which covers the basic controls of resource production, movement, and combat.
After that, the Advanced Tutorial walks through some of the game’s more complex elements, such as all the information the Interface provides, the many map modes, and how trade functions.
After you have finished the Advanced Tutorial, you are fully equipped to confidently take command of a nation in the three Beginner Campaign scenarios, each of which focuses on specific aspects of the game. These tutorial campaigns provide an excellent introduction to the game, and when you have completed them, you will be fully prepared to tackle all the challenges of a normal Single Player Game.
