The Harpoon Gun is used by Support characters in Evolve.
Firing Mode[edit]
This gun fires out a spike much like a harpoon. This metal projectile can puncture the flesh of the alien, at which point an energy bridge will open between the spike and the barrel of the gun.
The energy will tether the two together, and the alien will not be able to move too far from the Trapper without first severing the bridge.
To sever the bridge, the alien must attack the Trapper, leaving him open.
