Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

Location[edit]

Jamaica Plains
Jamaica Plains

Acquisition[edit]

The entirety of the population of this area are now Feral Ghouls. Be Prepared for this when you head in there.

Enter the Town from the East. Make your way inward until you make it to this intersection. There is a body here you want to investigate.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

This is Carl Everett. He has the Jamaica Plain Town Hall Key and the item: Carl's Log.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Load Carl's Log into your pipboy and look into the September entry. This will start the miscellaneous objective to find the treasure of Jamaica Plain.

Turn to the right at the intersection. Go down the street until you are between the orange car and the street lamp. Turn to the left and head into the house there.

Inside the house, go for the stairs you see through the door just to your right. Take them up to the second floor.

When you make it up, turn to the right, go around the corner and you will find 2 more corpses: Ken and Tanya Standish. Check Ken's body for the Jamaica Plains Archive Key

Now, make your way back to Carl Everett. You will want to go to the left from there. There are another few things you need before you can get into where the weapon is.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Continue down this direction until you come across the nearby church. To get in you will need to head to adjacent, smaller, red building.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Go into the red house, turn to the left and take the stairs there up. At the top of the stairs, turn to the keep to the wall on your right and follow that path to reach the rooftop of the adjacent church.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Make your way to the far side of the church rooftop. Go to the very edge of the hole and line as best you can. SAVE. Then try to drop down onto the walkway just below you.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Turn around from where you landed and use the stairs there. This will let you get down to the ground floor safely.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Head over to the bench in front of the chained door out. On that bench you will find the body of Luke Silverhand. On him you will find the Jamaica Plain Mayor's ID. This can be important, depending on how you want to approach matters.

Luke Silverhand

Make your way back to Carl Everett. This time you want to head straight across to the intersection to the Town Hall.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Go through the front doors. You will need to find one more thing before you can start actively making your way toward the Baseball Bat.

Go forward, just a bit to the right to go into the bathroom in front of you. Go to the right inside and take the stairs ahead of you, on the left, up to the next floor.

At the top of the stairs, go to the left once again. From there, go through the open door ahead of you on the left.

Look to the left when you get inside. You will find Sal dead between some filing cabinets and a desk. She has the final thing you need: Jamaica Plain Mayor's Password.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Make your way back to the entrance of this area. Go into the entrance of the Town Hall once again. This time, go to the left and head down the stairs there. You can find the stairs through a hole in the wall in front of you. This will take you to the entrance of the basement, to get in, you will need the Jamaica Plain Town Hall Key

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Once inside, you will want to head around the rubble and go through the double doors just ahead of you.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

There are a number of ways to go through the next portion. This path gives you the most rewards for your efforts here (but it does take several minutes to complete). It can be sped up by using one more item but with, potentially, significantly reduced rewards.

Once in the room through the double doors, turn to the right.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

This leads to a room with a console in front of you which can be used to deactivate all the turrets and the laser trip wires in the hallway in front of you. You can use the Jamaica Plain Mayor's ID to deactivate the lasers and then head through the corridor with no fear.

You can also start sneaking into the hallway and disarm all of the laser tripwires. This will get you 1 Crystal, Fiber Optics and Steel. There are 49 of them to disable. You will also need to hit the button at the end of the hallway to the left of the door. This will open the door and lead you into the next room you need.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Go to the security terminal in front of you. To access this, you will need the Jamaica Plain Mayor's Password. Use this to open the doors in front of you.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

In the short hallway revealed, you will find a second button. Hit the red button in the middle of the hallway to access the treasures of Jamaica Plain.

2076 World Series Baseball Bat

Go into the room that opens in front of you. Immediately turn to the right to find the 2076 World Series Baseball Bat..
