Cait is found in the Combat Zone where she is the Prize Fighter in their Death Matches. She is a fiery-tempered red headed Pit Fighter. She sees the world as a bleak place where you need to fight and look out for yourself.
She is skilled at melee combat. She will rush her opponents. She can also pick locks if she is given Bobby Pins. It helps to gear her with high Defense Armor to ward off the worst of the incoming damage on her. Give her the best melee weapon you can that you're not using.

Cait's parents were abusive, distant, fought constantly and showed no affection to their child. She found out that the only reason they kept her around was to sell her into slavery when she turned eighteen. It took her five years to steal enough caps to buy her own freedom. After getting them, she went back home and murdered her parents with a gun she had gotten along the way. She took to drinking and Psycho a while after that.
Cait is very slow to trust because of her time as a slave and in the Combat Zone. She also finds it very hard to believe anyone would simply be nice to her without expecting anything in return. She has learned the world is out to kill whoever tries to be nice.
Cait has a crippling addiction to Psycho. This is beyond anything that the Commonwealth Doctors can manage. She has heard rumors that there is something that might be able to help her addiction in Vault 95.

Find and clear out the Combat Zone. Talk with Tommy Lonegan and accept to take on Cait's contract.

Gaining Affinity[edit]
Cait can be romanced.
A very common method of improving your standing with her is strip naked and then fast travel between various safe locations. You can also do this from Home Plate in Diamond City. Go into the house, sleep 2 hours, exit and re-enter the house.
