Commonwealth (also known as "The Commonwealth", "Commonwealth Wasteland") is the name of Boston's and the surrounding area wasteland in Fallout 4.
It is the main setting for the game.

The Commonwealth consists of what's left from the state of Massachusetts in New England.

- When leaving a building and exiting to the wasteland, exit location should display as "Commonwealth"
- You will also get the achievement "War Never Changes" when its you first time leaving Vault 111 into the "Commonwealth Wasteland"
