Walkthrough[edit]

With the assignment in hand you will want to head out of the Vault. You will need to make your way out to HalluciGen, Inc

Make your way into the building. Go into the door on the left and take the stairs down to the basement.

Go through the door on the left. From there, head into the Northwestern door in the back of the room.

Turn to the East in this room and go through the hole in the wall in front of you. Go to the South when you reach the next room. Cross it and go to the left.

Take the collapsed floor up to ground level and go through the next door ahead of you.

Go straight through the hallway to the next room to the North. Turn to the West in there and head through the next door ahead of you on the left.

Face back to the West and head on down the corridor there. Turn to the North and head up the stairs ahead there. Take them on up.

At the top of the stairs, go South and through the door ahead of you on the left. Continue through the next room to the East and the hallway beyond.

Go down the hallway and follow it to the South. Stop immediately after you cross through the doorway because of the ledge that sits just outside the doorway.

Face to the West and back up against the wall. Save your game then preform a running jump across the gap to reach the far door. Go on through the doorway and up the stairs just to the right inside it.

Go on up the stairs and head through the first door on the right.

Turn to the South and head through the door just underneath the clock.

Now, just the stairwell all the way to the bottom. Go through the Northern door that is directly across from the base of the stairs.

Turn to the East once through the door. The door is locked and has a hackable terminal next to it, Expert Level. Hack the terminal.

Inside the Lab, turn to the South (right) and head through the decontamination rings. Beyond them, things get more dangerous.

Just as you enter the lab itself, the Sole Survivor can be heard gasping. On top of that, there is a laser tripmine at the left-hand end of the first counter-top on the floor. Carefully jump over it and turn to the left.

Run to the left to the hole in the wall. Just through it you will find a Steamer Trunk. Open it up to find the chemicals you are looking for. Be sure to also grab the Hallucigen Key from the Trunk as well.
