Give the Mariner the tools is a quest objective in the mission Hull Breach in Fallout 4: Far Harbor.

Walkthrough[edit]
When exiting the Eagle Cove Tannery from the bottom level, you will encounter yet more Feral Ghouls. They will be blocked occasionally by the boxes and crates in the area. Clear them out and head out. You will be stopped by Machete Mike. He will explain that he wants to buy the tools off you for 2,000 caps. You can accept his offer but then fail the the Mariner quest line. It is your call.
Having dealt with Machete Mike return to Far Harbor. You will find the Mariner working on the Hull or just about her area. Talk with her and give her the tools.

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]
- You can provoke him into attacking you by pickpocketing him. This will ensure you can get around 3,000 caps for your trouble with him and still continue forward in the Mariner quest line.
