Gun-fu (a portmanteau of Gun and Kung-fu) is a term that originates from Hong Kong Action Movies, where sophisticated martial arts are mixed with gun-play. Often, this requires the actors to be agile. Director John Woo originated this style in his movie, A Better Tomorrow - and it became a staple in action movies, like The Matrix and John Wick. Gun-fu can also be seen in games, most famously Max Payne.
