Backstory[edit]
John-Caleb Bradberton was one of the foremost pioneers in the soft drink industry before the Great War. He was responsible for the original formula for Nuka Cola.
Bradberton's head has been cyrogenically preserved, so he is still alive to the present day in the Fallout Universe. He was given access to what was called Project Cobalt. In exchange for enhanced weapon designs for the Fat Man, he could be cyrogenically preserved. Unfortunately, only his head could be preserved.
After his long lifetime, Bradbenton finds his continued existence to be torture. He will ask the Sole Survivor to power down the Vault and end his life. In exchange he will offer them the Nuka Nuka Launcher for this.

- The preserved head is likely a reference to the popular myth that Walt Disney was cyrogenically frozen after his own death.
