Walkthrough[edit]

Follow Preston Garvey and his men to Sanctuary.

Alternatively, you can fast travel to Sanctuary and wait for Preston Garvey and the rest of the settlers to show up.

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • To wait, you can sit on a couch or some other chair, and press 'T', then put in how many hours you would like to wait.

Bugs[edit]

  • There is a bug in which Preston Garvey ends up on the roof of your house. If this happens, you can't reach him or talk to him. You can try fast traveling and coming back, or waiting some more, but if Preston is still stuck on top of your house, you will have to reload an earlier save.
  • Preston and his gang never leave the museum of freedom.

Dialog[edit]

Preston Garvey: All right. Thanks to our friend here, it's safe to moove out. We're heading for that place Mama Murphy knows about: Sanctuary, it's not far.

Marcy Long: She knows about it? You mean she had one of her "visions" while she was stoned out of her gourd. And now you want us to just head out on another wild goosechase based on no better plan than "Mama Murphy saw it?"

Preston Garvey: It can hardly turn any worse than...

Sturges: Hold on, hold on. Everybody just take it easy. We're all in this together, right? So Marcy, you got a better idea of what we should do next? Anybody? Well, then. Sanctuary it is. Let's just hope it lives up to its name.

Marcy Long: Come on, Jun, it's time to go.

Jun Long: Oh, okay.
