A Vault Tec Rep informs the family that they have been approved to move into Vault 111.
Shortly after, the Television broadcasts that nuclear war has erupted, followed by sirens.
The protagonist and his family rush to get to Vault 111.

- A Vault-Tec Van can be seen parked outside the house at the beginning of the game. This van was most likely used by the Vault-Tec Rep to drive to the neighborhood to inform people they were accepted as part of the vault program.
