Steel Door is Vault 111's entrance in Fallout 4
Vault 111 is one of the Vaults in Fallout 4.
It is located near Sanctuary Hills and it is the designated vault for that neighborhood.
On a nice Saturday morning in October 2077, a Vault-Tec Rep arrives at the Protagonist's House to inform Nate that him and his family have been cleared for access to the vault.
Shortly after, the sirens sound and a Newsreader confirms in a television broadcast that there have been nuclear detonations.
Nora grabs Shaun, and she and Nate run to the vault.
As they arrive at the vault platform and are about to get lowered into the vault, a huge nuclear detonation occurs nearby.

- You will be given a chance to change you S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats allocation as well as your name and appearance before leaving the vault for the first time.
- The Vault-Tec Rep who registered you to the vault is himself denied entry at the gate, despite being Vault-Tec employee.
- You can enter two cryorooms in the vault: Cryoroom B and Cryoroom C. One would think that there also exists a Cryoroom A, however that is nowhere to be found.
- The top ten player list of the Recreation Terminal is actually a list of some of the console commands you can use.
