You get this achievement as soon as you exit Vault 111 and step into the Wasteland (Commonwealth).

- War Never Changes is one of the first achievements you will get in the game.
- The Wasteland is also known as Fallout 4: The Commonwealth, and includes Boston and the surrounding areas.
- You will get the Pip Boy 3000 Mark IV from near the body of a Dead Vault-Tec Scientist just before leaving Vault 111
