The Golden Path is a faction in Far Cry 4
They are a rebel faction and aim to overthrow the tyrannical dictator, Pagan Min
The Golden Path was founded by Mohan Ghale
Pagan Min refers to Golden Path members as "Terrorists"
Sabal is one of the current leaders of the Golden Path. He comes to rescue Ajay from De Pleur's Mansion
Darpan, another member of the Golden Path, who accompanied Ajay into Kyrat and texted Sabal for help when they got captured by Pagan, is taken to interrogation and torture by Paul De Pleur. Sabal does not save Darpan, since it would be too risky and because they came to save Ajay who is more important to them.

The Ministry of Social Harmony has deemed Mohan Ghale an official agitator of the peace. Ghale founded the treacherous Golden Path and actively sought to assassinate our beloved leader, Pagan Min.
