Walkthrough

• This race is found nearby the board of Lozania from Agua Lindas, nearby the Esperanza West Checkpoint.
• Just head a little to the Southwest to reach the nearby tank training grounds.
• Along the outside of the training grounds, on the Eastern side of them, you can find the phone for the challenge.
• This is can be a challenging race to complete with the tanks on the track.
• You cannot have the tank notice (aggro) you, or there is a VERY good chance you'll be blown up and have to restart the race.

Running the race

• You start the race with 10 seconds on the clock.
• Drive through the fencing directly in front of you and going over to the right.
• Pass through each of the checkpoints you will grant you an extra 6 seconds.
• It might not seem like much, but it is very easy to be around 3 minutes on the timer.
• Just after the first turn, drift a right-hand turn to get through the next few checkpoints.
• Follow the road at full throttle for now, making another drift turn to the left, going down the slope.
• Drive down the slope, going up the next one and hitting the jump (and checkpoint) just ahead.
• Follow the road in front of you with its bank (making the turn very easy).
• Now the risk will start to mount, there are 2 tanks that are doing lazy circles across your path.
• You need to drive past them A LOT without having them take full notice of you.
• Also, you will want to mix it up between letting up on the throttle and drifting.
• Get past the tanks for the first time, going up the slope.
• Id' suggest letting up the throttle for the turn at the top to make the next turn.
• Glide through it, getting to the checkpoint then taking the slope down.
• Turn to the right when you get back to the lower portion.
• Drive through the checkpoint, being mindful of the tanks again.
• Follow the markers across to the upslope.
• Get through the pair of checkpoints, making a sharp left turn for the second.
• Follow the road through the next 5 checkpoints, drifting the turns as needed.
• This leads you into doing a number of circles through the tank area (if you ever wanted to play Chicken with tanks...)
• Ease on the throttle for the turns for better control as you go through this spiral.
• It ends with you making a turn to the right along the southern side of the tank area.
• Get past the rusted metal barrier then break to the right to avoid the next one and reach the checkpoint beyond it.
• This leads you through the middle of the tank area before another left onto the turn bank.
• Make a sharp right with a drift turn in the tank area, being mindful to keep at a good speed while staying (mostly) in control to break away from the tanks.
• Just follow the checkpoints to the left from there.
• This brings you into a tighter loop going to the left, taking a turn nearby where one of the tanks is driving.
• Avoid the tank and drift into the left-hand turn, going up the short slope and then following it to the right.
• Follow this path to the right, going through the next few checkpoints.
• Drift a turn to the right at the end of the road and head back through the next checkpoint toward the tanks.
• You need to drive carefully past the rusted metal barricades again and get past the tank.
• Turn to the left and along the road there, going toward the other tank.
• Go up the banked turn here and through it to the right.
• After that, just go across the road on final time.
• Hit the jump to finish the race by going through the fiery checkpoint.
