Found in the Sector 7 Slums is Chadley who is working to undermine Shinra research efforts. He will set out a series of unlocking Battle Reports to complete. There are 20 in total to complete. Most of these will be completed simply by completing the game. Others will take some effort.

Aiming to develop a new elemental materia based on an analysis of how fire, ice and lightning magic affect their targets.
Data collection required.
Conditions[edit]
Hit enemies vulnerable to fire, ice, or lightning using the appropriate magic. (Number of attacks: 1 for each element).
Walkthrough[edit]
It is time to use different magics on enemies to exploit vulnerabilities.
- Equip the Fire, Ice, and/or Lightning.
- Use Assess ability to learn what elements to hit the enemies with.
