A short challenge issued to Yuffie by Chadley

Walktrough

• Go over to Chadley in the Sector 7 Slums.
• Approach and talk with him to have the option to engage with the VR mission to defeat the simulation of Ramuh

Fighting Ramuh

• The battle starts with Ramuh in front of Yuffie.
• Time to take on a new summons you can unlock here.
• Taking on Ramuh with Sonon is recommended, but it can be done with Yuffie alone (it's just harder).
• Using a mix of close and mid-range attacks is going to be the best here.
• Guarding is also your best friend to take on Ramuh.
  • If possible, use an Elemental Materia with a Wind Materia for a small damage boost.
• From there, focus on Ramuh, watching for the incoming attacks.

• At the start, be ready to throw your Shuriken to hit Ramuh.
• Almost immediately after that, move in for melee attacks and combos.
• From there, build the ATB to use Elemental Ninjutsu - Wind.
• Use this Elemental Ninjutsu - Wind to build up Ramuh's stagger gauge.
• Just before Synchronizing, but sure to use Art of War to augment your damage.
• From there, move in carefully and start using the Synchronized Attacks.
• Getting in close has its risks, but if you are ready to guard, you can survive a lot better.
• For the first part, keeping distance and using a mix of thrown weapon attacks, with the follow-ups, will make it easy to stay alive.
• Throughout, keep an eye on Yuffie's health since Ramuh can take down a character with moderate ease.
• When you see the Lightning Strike attack beginning, start strafing away to avoid the incoming attacks.
• After 3 Lightning Strikes have hit, the attack ends, giving an opening for Yuffie to retaliate.
• Another attack to watch out for are the Thunderous Orbs.
• These are best evaded by rolling to the left or right to get out of their way.
• As Ramuh is approaching 50% health, or when he uses Summon Sparks, if possible, this is a great time for Yuffie to use her limit break.

• Things change when you lower Ramuh to 50% health.
• Circuitous Bolt can be a hard attack to dodge.
• Evading it either requires a perfectly timed dodge or simply getting far enough away you're out of the attack's range.
• There are likely 3 Sparks scattered around the arena as well.
• These can be targeted and destroyed, lowering the damage Ramuh is doing to Yuffie (and Sonon).
• This is also when the risk of Judgment Bolt is at its highest.
• If you see Ramuh starting this attack, immediately focus on using Healing Spells or items to get to full health.
• This attack seems to do 50%+ health damage, so full HP is the only sure way to survive.
• The chances of survival decrease notably if you have 90% or less health.
