Description[edit]
Cloud defeat the monsters and rescues the children, who stare at him in awe. They all return to the secret hideout together.
Walkthrough[edit]
- Oates, having explained what is happening in the hideout, he will head over to the Eastern passage and then head to the South through it.
- Go past Chadley and across the street to the wall with the white monster skull.
- Follow Oates down this narrow passage to find the Children's Hideout.
- Talk with Oates again on the other side.
- It is time to head deeper into the Hideout and clear out the monsters here.
- Follow Oates over to the end of the hideout itself and the small opening there.
- This will bring you into the Sector 5 Slums Undeveloped Area.
- Here, head forward, time to go deeper in and start dealing with the monsters in the area.
- Going inside the first building you will find 3 Hedgehog Pies.
- After that, go through the building and go into the next fight with more Hedgehog Pies.
- Before going forward, head up the nearby walkway, having a chance to smash a crate.
- Continue up to reach a balcony to find a chest with Mega-Potion
- Go over to the East, back down the walkway and across the bridge, and a narrow area.
- Here, you will encounter 4 Wererats that are coming after you.
- These are quick and easy to defeat, but be wary of the Call to Arms which can bring in more Wererats.
- Continuing deeper in to the East, you will find another Wererat and 2 Hedgehog Pies.
- You can smash the crates nearby for some useful items as well.
- Head over to the
- Take the ladder down to find the next area.
- In this arean, you will find 2 more Hedgehog Pies and a Smogger.
- Start by taking down the Hedgehog Pies, especially since their Avarious Bite ability allows them to steal items!
- After that, start focusing on the Smogger.
- Attack them when you see it using the Haywire Haze to significantly boost its Stagger Gauge or use Lightning.
- If you can stagger it, it does not take too much to defeat the Smogger after that.
- Defeating these will call in another 4 Hedgehog Pies.
- This is followed by another 2 Smoggers that emerge from the scrap nearby.
- Defeat these and head over to the meager remains of the dock, where Aerith is.
- Approach and a cutscene will trigger, having Cloud jump out to rescue the children from the remains.
- Now it is time to head back out to the hideout itself.
