You can build a Wall in Fortnite BR

You can build Walls in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Overview[edit]

  • Walls are primary used to suppress enemy fire. For example, using walls when ramp rushing slows down the enemy being able to shoot down your ramp. When used in conjunction with a floor during a ramp rush, it will provide full coverage on enemies shooting down the ramp.
  • Walls should ALWAYS be built around you when you are out in the open reviving or using shields/meds.
  • When shot, your immediate reaction should be to build walls all around you and a stair.
  • As the game has evolved, editing is now sort of about how quickly you can do so. The faster you can edit, the better you will be. A good way to practice is to build a bunch of walls in playground and turn Auto Run on just start editing. There should be a point where you are no longer running into walls.
  • You can edit the wall before building it, and there are many wall variations you can use.
  • Refer to the wall guide below for all wall variations. Different variations may be good for different scenarios. For example, you may one to include one or two windows in the wall for your squadmates to shoot through.

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • You can build walls using different materials. Walls made of wood take the shortest time to build but can also be destoyed more quickly. Use stone or metal for stronger walls.
    • On the other hand, wooden walls are easier to spam for quick defense.
  • Walls can be repaired if damaged, before they get completely destroyed.
