After you kill a player, you can loot his or her body in Fortnite Battle Royale.

When a player dies, he drops all loot he had on him at that time.

- Any player can loot a dead player's body, not just the one who killed him.
- If a player drops no loot, it means he just landed or otherwise has not picked anything up.
- If you know you are about to die far away from your squad, you should consume any extra healing items and shield potions so that enemy squads won't get ahold of them.
