Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • Since the Pump Shotgun has a low fire rate, a common technique used by players involves following up on your shotgun shot with a weapon that has a high fire right, such as a Submachine Gun.
  • Aim for the head! Some variations of the Pump Shotgun deal over 200 damage on a headshot, which results in an instant-kill in Build modes.

Trivia[edit]

  • Before being removed in patch v3.0, the Pump Shotgun was used to "Double-Pump", which involved carrying two Pump Shotguns, firing one, swapping to the other, firing again, and repeating. This would effectively give the player double the magazine size (5 FNBR Ammo-Shells.png Shells capacity to 10 FNBR Ammo-Shells.png Shells capacity) and allow them to deal more damage per second, since swapping weapons was faster than the delay between shots on a single Pump Shotgun.
  • In Patch v3.4, the Pump Shotgun's rarities changed from Common and Uncommon to Uncommon and Rare. According to the patch notes, this was done in order to more accurately reflect the amount of potential damage the Pump Shotgun can deal in its rarities.
