Roads are paved paths that lead from one place to another in Fortnite Battle Royale.
The major roads are marked on the Map.
It is generally easier and quicker to use roads then to climb through mountains, since usually going through steep mountains require you to use building resources to build stairs etc to cross.
Though sometimes a road will go around the mountain and if you want to go fast and in a straight line you have to leave the road and cross the mountain, esecially if escaping the storm.
