All banks in Grand Theft Auto V are equipped with electronic security systems that protect the bank's money.
Players can trigger these systems by messing up during a heist.
Triggering Security Systems[edit]
During a Loud Heist, security systems are triggered right away because players simply go barging in.
During the quieter Smart Heists, players have the option of going in using stealth, or tricking enemies into thinking that they actually belong. During these missions, alarms will only trigger when the player messes up and alerts the enemies, either by revealing weapons, attacking enemies, or botching some mission-critical mini-objective.
