"Find Josh at his burned down house" is an objective in the mission Breach of Contract in Grand Theft Auto V

Head back to the house at Eclipse Blvd and Mad Wayne Thunder Dr. There you will find Josh making a report to the LSPD. It sounds like he's setting up Trevor to take the fall for torching his house. He will accuse Trevor of a number of things and then gets the cops to fire on him. Time to kill the dirty rat or run away.
