Fly after Ron to the boats and drop cargo

"Fly after Ron to the boats and drop cargo" is an objective in the story mission Nervous Ron in Grand Theft Auto V.

Walkthrough[edit]

Follow the onscreen prompts to taxi the plane and take off. There is a biker on your wing that Ron will get nervous about. He will fall off somewhere around the lake. You can shake him off sooner doing a roll or swinging to the left then right quickly.

Here are some helpful hints for first-time fliers:

Gently adjust things using the Left thumbstick. The plane is fairly sensitive and will swing hard in any direction. Especially after banking turns, level out quickly.

For gentle turns, use the rudder controls to maneuver the plane. This will keep the plane level and keep it much easier to control. The more control you have over the plane, the better you will perform in it.

Finally, when coming into land, remember to use Rudder controls over steering. It will make coming in level a lot easier. It will also make it easier to control when decelerating. All on-ground maneuvering is done with the rudder controls.

Now that Trevor and Ron are airborne, it is time to get on over to the drop zone. If you going for the Gold, drop low over the lake. The first bridge on the flight path is just in front of you. Slip under it (or over it if you are still very new to flying) to get the first of the 6 bridges. The second bridge is shortly after. Gain some altitude and fly through the arch. You need to bank some to make that turn to be sure of your skills. The third bridge is ahead. Simply duck underneath it to get on through it.

For the next section of flight you need to hang low. This will keep you off military radar. Getting on their radar causes you to fail the mission instantly. Hang low after that to duck on through the next bridge. The bridge after that is the trickiest as you need to be precise to fly on through it.

The next bridge, if you are after gold, just gets harder to pull off here. It is low to the ground and narrow. Precision flying is mandate. The final bridge is just ahead and low. Get underneath there and you are all done.

If you are making multiple attempts at the mission and retrying, the game keeps a running tally of how manage bridges you've gone under. After 6, you can stop and just fly normally.

The final part is to head for the landing strip. Use the rudder to line up, drop the landing gear and land. Remember to slow down as you come in. It doesn't take too long (it may take a try or 3 though).

Once you are down you need to get the plane over to the hangar. You do not need to get it in complete, just some of it. That will trigger the final cutscene for the mission.
