"Get the architect to give up the briefcase" is an objective in the story mission Architect's Plans in Grand Theft Auto V.
Walkthrough[edit]
Once Franklin is out of sight from the rest of the construction crew, start closing in on the Architect. Now you have a number of choices.
You can approach the Architect and knock him out in stealth mode. You can also pull a gun on the architect and get him to give up the plans that way.
Once you have the briefcase, things take a turn as the construction site turns against you. This is only if you held up the architect for the plans or simply knocked the briefcase off him. If you knock him out or kill him (with a silenced weapon), then he will not be able to report your actions against him. This makes for a quick and easy get away.
