LA Noire: Ranks

When you gain XP and advance in ranks, you get various rewards. This Hawkshaw Outfit is unlocked as an award for reaching Rank 18

Your character gains experience throughout the game through various successful actions, including:

Choosing correct responses during interrogations Solving Street Crimes Locating landmarks and collectables (like film reels)

Every time you rank up you receive intuition points as well as other awards (see below). The max rank you can have is 20, after which you will no longer be able to get more intuition points.
