After teaming up with Iron Man to defeat Doctor
Doom, Squirrel Girl went on to join Mr. Immortal's
team, the Great Lakes Avengers. Though they were
dismissed by the Avengers, Squirrel Girl and the GLA
went on to do battle with Maelstrom! It did not go
well for them.
