A flame grenade in Metro: Last Light

A type of grenade in Metro: Last Light.

Effects[edit]

The flame grenade is, as the title suggests, a grenade which explodes into a cloud of flame upon impact.

Unlike a regular grenade, there is no "cook" time for the flame grenade. Instead, it explodes as soon as it hits something solid.

Any enemies caught within the blast radius will be doused in flammable liquid and promptly ignited, dealing fire damage over time.

How the Flame Grenade Works[edit]

The flame grenade comes in a little vial full of yellow liquid.

The nature of the liquid inside is not specified, nor is its identity. It is, however, clearly quite flammable.

When the grenade is thrown with enough force, the glass vial holding the yellow liquid will break, spreading liquid all over the blast radius.

Simultaneously, an ignition source inside of the base of the grenade sparks, igniting the flammable liquid and causing it to catch the blast radius on fire.
