A stone chute covered by a grate which leads downwards from the Reich prison cell into a pile of bodies.
The Reich soldiers clearly use this as a method of disposing bodies once they are done with them.

Artyom and Pavel escape from the Reich through this chute, leading them into the underground where they must sneak their way past a group of guards.
