The gas mask in Metro: Last Light
Gas masks are valuable resources in Metro: Last Light.
Anton and the other underground residents must use these decaying masks whenever they want to reach the surface.
Using a Gas Mask[edit]
Unfortunately, gas masks are often old and decaying.
Their filters can't last forever, and must be switched out if Anton has any hope of staying alive. This is done by approaching another gas mask in the world and looting the filter from it. Players can also choose to abandon their current mask in favor of the new one if it is becoming too cracked.
