When you start the game in No Man's Sky, you will find yourself on a random starter planet at the end of the galaxy.
One of the first things you will encounter is the starting ship.
The Starting ship looks like it has crashed on the planet and is need of repairs.
It also does not have a hyperdrive engine that would let you go to other systems.
You would need to reach a Space Station to buy a better ship and start your journey to the Center of the Galaxy.

- Your crashed starship should be right next to where you start, if you don't see it be sure to look around before wandering too far.
