"Slaughter the caravan" is a quest objective in Pillars of Eternity.
You get this objective if you attack any of the caravan members at the Encampment

Just kill EVERYONE in the Campsite to complete this mission objective
You will be outnumbered, and outleveled, so this will be very difficult. See the "Strategy Guide/Tips" section below for advice on how to beat this objective
Completing this objective will also complete the quest, A Moment's Respite

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]
- If you wish to explore the Encampment, do so before the slaughter. Once the slaughter ends you will be teleported to a different area.
- Pick up the Springberries - once you do so, Sparfel leaves the campsite to go hunting and you have one less enemy to deal with
- Open all the Crates and get all the loot. You can buy and sell stuff from Heodan at Heodan's Supplies. Stock up on all the supplies you need.
- If you own Gaun's Pledge be sure to sell it to Heodan for a large amount of gold.
- Calisca will leave the party as soon as you attack, and turn hostile.
- Tip: Move to the edge of the campsite next to Heodan, and send Calisca to attack Odema. Most of the caravan members will engage her, buying you some extra time. If executed correctly, everyone will have ganged up on Calisca and only Heodan and maybe a couple of Caravanners will be attacking you.
- You gain reputation Cruel: 1
- There will be lots of loot on the ground. Unfortunately, you will not get to pick it up since the quest ends and you get transported to the next area immediately.
