The Kakkara Desert is a Quest in Secret of Mana (SOM).
Description[edit]
The party leaves Flammie to Truffle's keeping while they look for the next Mana Palace. Their journey takes them through the Kakkara Desert to look for the Fire Palace.
Walkthrough[edit]
- Head back out into the Great Forest,
- Once out of the cave, head over to the bottom right entrance.
- This leads to the nearby Cannon Travel Station.
- Cannon Man will be a bit apprehensive about the long distance.
- The party will land in the Kakkara Desert, immediately feeling the heat.
- Go up to the North and onto the next screen.
- This leads to a large area where you will encounter a number of Sand Stingers and a few Pebblers.
- This area is filled with with large empty shells, small cacti, and some rocks.
- Head to the West to move onto the next screen.
- This screen has yet more Sand Stingers.
- Large stone formations fill this area with the monsters.
- Make your way to the North from this screen and onto the next.
- Here, you will encounter some Pumpkin Bombs around.
- Be wary of the Sand Pits that will draw you into the Spider Legs.
- Head over to the East and exit this screen, going to the next.
- The party will immediately head to the center of the area.
- After a short talk, they mention that there is something noticable nearby.
- Head to the North, fighting whatever monsters you desire and move to the next screen.
- Here, the party will find the Sand Ship and board it.
